Micah: The Poor Man’s Prophet | Week 2 of 3 – Judgment & Restoration

God’s judgment reveals our need for His restoration. Scripture:Micah 3:1-12, Micah 5:2-6, Jeremiah 26:17-19a (NLT).

In Micah chapters 3–5, we see God confront the sin, injustice, and brokenness of His people. The leaders of Israel had turned away from God, hurting others and using their positions for personal gain. Yet, even in the middle of judgment, God’s message is not one of hopelessness. Micah points ahead to a future hope — a coming ruler from Bethlehem who would bring restoration and peace.

This week, students will wrestle with an important question: Are there sins too big for God to forgive? Through Micah’s warning and Jeremiah’s reminder of how God responded when His people turned back to Him, students will discover that God takes sin seriously, but His mercy is greater than our failures.
