Micah: The Poor Man’s Prophet | Week 1 of 3 – Truth & Lies

Primary Scriptures: Micah 1:2–9, 16 (NLT); Micah 2:1–3, 6–7, 11–13 (NLT); Matthew 22:37–39 (NLT)

This week in Youth, we'll begin our study of Micah: The Poor Man's Profit by discovering who the prophet Micah was and why God called him to speak to His people. We'll examine how Israel was led astray by false prophets who told them what they wanted to hear instead of what they needed to hear. As we study these passages, we'll be challenged to evaluate the voices influencing our lives, guard against idols that compete for our hearts, and learn what it truly means to love God and love our neighbors.

Meetings begin formally at 6:30 and end around 8:00 pm.
