2025 MAGNiFiED! VBS

This year’s VBS, Magnified! was an unforgettable week! Inspired by our theme verse, Psalm 34:3 – “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together!” , we challenged the children to explore how God reveals Himself even in life’s smallest details.
From the very first day, our volunteers and children were filled with energy and excitement. Our worship times were a highlight each day, full of Grace Grown Kids’ music, fun hand motions, and moments where the children personally encountered the presence of God.
Throughout the week, our amazing team of teachers and volunteers led the children through engaging lessons, fun-filled activities, and meaningful discussions centered on five powerful truths: God sees me, God cares about me, God loves me, God forgives me, and God keeps His promises.
Each day overflowed with joy and excitement. From action-packed games to delicious snacks and hands-on crafts, every moment was intentional and planned to help God’s truth take root in the hearts of the children.
Perhaps most importantly, many children expressed a deeper understanding of who Jesus is and how much He wants a relationship with them. Seeds of faith were planted, and for some, personal commitments to follow Jesus were made. Praise God!
This year, we introduced a new way to recognize the children who truly embodied the character of Christ during VBS with the “VBS Character of Jesus Award.” In each of our older classes, one student was selected by their teacher for demonstrating the qualities that reflect the character of Christ. Whether through acts of kindness, a joyful spirit, or a willingness to serve others, these children exemplified the very heart of Jesus throughout the week.
The moment of awarding was one of pure joy. Not only did the children receiving the award glow with excitement, but it was also heartwarming to see how thrilled and genuinely happy their friends were for them. The cheers and applause from their peers were a beautiful reminder of how we’re called to encourage and uplift one another in our walk with Christ. It was a privilege to celebrate these young lives and the ways they were shining the light of Jesus.
We are so thankful for our volunteers, teachers, and the staff who helped make this week possible. To God be all the glory for an incredible week of learning, worship, and fun! Let’s continue to magnify Him together, not just in big moments, but in every small detail of our lives.
