Senior Tennessee Trip 2021
This year marked the second annual Senior Tennessee trip that the Grace Youth Ministry leaders have taken students on. Last year, the peak of the COVID-19 spikes had taken place during the summer of 2020. The summers are usually a great bonding time for GYM students as they ramp up for the school year, but that year they barely spent any time together. With that in mind, the leadership took the upcoming GYM Seniors to Joe and Rebecca Ward’s 20-acre ranch in Tennessee to spend a weekend together.
Students spend extended time together before the school year begins so they can bond, ask deeper questions, and talk about how they are feeling about their final year of high school. Leaders have said that these trips have been highly beneficial as it gives the seniors a chance to reconnect before beginning a sometimes crazy year.
