How can churches have the greatest impact on America’s at-risk children?

Fill the relational voids in kids’ lives. In other words, send people to personally meet with students who need reliable, caring adult relationships. And start with children in the earliest grades. And that is what Kids Hope USA does.

We are excited to enter our third year with this ministry that trains and equips mentors to reach kids in public schools who are in need of caring, reliable, one-on-one relationships. If you have one hour during the week, you can be a mentor.

We spent the past two years serving at Foster Elementary School in Arlington. Foster would like to have us back for the Fall of 2023 and also Morton Elementary school has asked for our help as well. To meet the needs of both schools will require more than 25 mentors, which is more than double the number we currently have.
