The Book of Ephesians

The Apostle Paul arrived in Ephesus around A.D. 53. Paul was there for over two years, and then he left. He left people who had new hearts—but they were new hearts with old habits, and people were drifting back into old habits of sexual immorality, rage, malicious gossip, theft, and so on, primarily because the devil had convinced them of some lies.

Just a few years after Paul left Ephesus, he wrote to that group of Jesus-followers to give them a refresher course in what it meant to be new creatures in Christ. That refresher is the letter of Ephesians…
