CLEANING OUT THE CLOSETS OF OUR HEARTIntroductionA forgotten bag of trash in one room can infest an entire home. The same is true for our spiritual lives—hidden sins, past hurts, or unexamined corners affect every area of our walk with God. Join us for our new Fall Series, Every Room, as we invite Jesus to clean out the hidden closets of our hearts and make His home fully within us (Ephesians 3:17).
❋ Week One - I need God.We all have closets that need to be cleaned out. But the first step is to admit that we need help and that we cannot do it on our own.
❋ Week Two - I choose surrender.Many of us have experienced hurt and have hurt others through our desire to control what only God can control.
❋ Week Three - I messed up.It may seem daunting to confess your sins. However, Scripture is full of promise, hope, and freedom for the believer who confesses.
❋ Week Five - I need forgiveness.When God commands us to forgive, He knows that it is for our best that we let go of the hurt, bitterness, and anger that will seep into our hearts.
❋ Week Four - I want change.We need to be fully ready for God to remove all the hurts, sins, and habits in our lives that are draining us of the life God has for us.
❋ Week Six - I am not alone.It is through community that we have accountability, encourage one another, bear each other’s burdens, and see the Holy Spirit work in our lives and in others.
