Young Adults
Life in Christ is a journey meant to be undertaken together. The Young Adults is a gathering of twenty and thirty-something singles and couples at Grace Community Church. They seek to engage the generation labeled "X" with the journey of faith in Christ through a community of faith and transformation. Our passion is to offer young adults an opportunity to find their place in heaven’s history, to make waves that will impact the lives around them for the glory of God, and to reach out to a dying culture with the story and power of Christ. Along the way, we encourage deep connections with others on the same path that we might attain to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ as the community of faith grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work (Ephesians 4).
Young Adults Activities
Small groups are the most effective way to get connected into close community for young adults at Grace Community Church. Through this process young adults are able to engage in transparent friendships, while witnessing the power of the Gospel through transformed lives. To learn more about getting connected to a small group, email Jon Scheffrahn at jonathan@gracearlington.com. Whether it be through times of fellowship: Superbowl parties, cookouts, basketball, going to Rangers games, or through serving together: short term missions trips and serving the city of Arlington we believe that young adults at Grace are reconcilers of the Kingdom of God.
If you are a twenty-something single or married couple, we would love to have the chance to get to know you! For more information, contact Brad Marvine at 817.714.0469, or send us an email.
Come and join us on the journey!
