Cornerstone Spring Break Trip to Arizona
Over spring break, 33 members of the College Cornerstone Ministry traveled to Eagar, Arizona. God opened many doors allowing them to serve and love those in the surrounding area. Several days were spent working and cleaning Grand View Camp in Eager. Many different groups worked on staining and sanding decks, chopping wood, building tables, power staining floors and various other tasks. The group also had the opportunity to visit and serve the Apache Native American Reservation. They loved serving the community by hosting an evening event for the children and youth. This event included volleyball, basketball, fun games, hotdogs and an opportunity to share the Gospel.
On the final day, the group hosted an open house at Grand View Camp. This open house included paintball, archery, rock wall, zip line, hotdogs, a fun skit and a personal testimony of God’s sovereignty through establishing and protecting the camp. The open house was a huge success. Over 60 children attended, which doubled their expectations!
Throughout the week, the group established firm connections within Eager and the Apache Native American Reservation. We look forward to seeing what the Lord continues to do in Arizona.
