SCHOOL OF PRAYER

THURSDAY EVENINGS
June 13th, 20th, 27th

Enjoyable, sustainable prayer. Is that possible? How do I tap into a lifestyle of prayer that isn’t drudgery or duty? What part does the House of Prayer—our own GHOP—play in living life as a person of prayer? How can I be an active part of GHOP?

Join us for a 3-week GHOP BootCamp, where we will learn from seasoned GHOP members how to live and move as people of prayer. Discover the secret to enjoyable and sustainable prayer! This is a hands-on School of Prayer, with training sessions in addition to teaching sessions. The time for setting up good habits and patterns is now—and doing it with other brothers and sisters is an amazing blessing.

If you are ready to move forward in the Lord and in prayer, then
THIS is where the rubber hits the road!

THURSDAY EVENINGS
APRIL 4TH — MAY 9TH

Have you ever wondered how the people in the Bible prayed? Did they sing Psalms? And how did the disciples pray, especially after asking Jesus to teach them to pray? Join us in the GHOP as Grace Church elders teach us about the Scriptures and prayer.

Thursday evenings
February 21st — March 28th

There is one God, and one way to that God, through Christ Jesus. However, currently there are 7,000,000,000 people on planet earth, and no two are alike. Each human being has a unique personality, and a unique way in which they have been made to interact with God through Jesus.

Some believers, when they pray, like to pray out loud. Some, though, prefer silent meditation. Still others find structured prayers to be the easiest way to approach the Lord. And yet others sing their prayers.

Have you ever wondered about prayer? About all the many, many ways that people pray? Have you ever wondered if anyone else prayed like you pray?

In Foundations, various staff pastors from Grace Church shared each week from their own prayer lives: how they approach prayer, how they pray, how have they seen God answer prayer, what shapes their understanding of prayer.

This was an amazing time of not just learning about prayer, but also was a wonderful chance to get to know Grace Church staff pastors better.

Thursday evenings
January 17th — February 7th

When our phones don’t do what we expect, we don’t throw away the phone.

When our computers don’t function like they should, we don’t trash the computer.

If we ask for help, how often is the response, “Well, have you rebooted?”

We began 2019 by ReBooting—by re-setting our lives back to the basics of enjoyable, sustainable, simple prayer. This 4-week School of Prayer Series looked at
-what it means to live a life-style of worship and prayer
-what worship-based prayer is, and why it matters to our day-to-day lives, and
-how to navigate past hindrances to prayer
