Baptism

Baptism is the way that we openly identify with Jesus in his death, burial, and resurrection (Rom 6:4). This is not a suggestion, but a command given to us by God. In the New Testament, this is the way to follow Jesus: repent and be baptized as an act of faith in and surrender to Jesus. (Acts 2:38). Jesus also gives us the command to baptize others, as described in Matthew 28:19. If you have believed in Jesus as your lord and have committed to serve him all the days of your life, but haven’t been baptized, there’s no better time than right now.

Why should I be baptized?
