Life in Christ is a Journey meant to be undertaken together.  The Journey is a gathering  of twenty-something singles and couples at Grace Community Church.  The Journey seeks to engage the generation labeled "X" with the journey of faith in Christ through a community of faith and transformation.  Our passion is to offer young adults an opportunity to find their place in heaven’s history, to make waves that will impact the lives around them for the glory of God, and to reach out to a dying culture with the story and power of Christ.  Along the way, we encourage deep connections with others on the same path that we might attain to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ as the community of faith grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work (Ephesians 4).

Young Adults Activities

The Journey’s weekly gathering is Thursday nights and provides the opportunity for authentic worship, teaching, and an invitation to link up with those on the Christian journey of faith. Life groups for singles and young married couples provide the environment for deeper connections to occur in a smaller setting.  Mission trips and retreats offer the opportunity for extended time away to serve God and others together.  Touch Teams reach outside our group with the message of Christ to the non-believer.  Widen the Circle events open the circle of our community to allow non-believers to experience the fellowship of faith, hope and love.  We are pursuing God together and enjoying the journey thoroughly!

While we provide plenty of activities, the core of The Journey is building friendships with those people that you would want to have with you on the journey of faith.  When we plan a trip, the people we want to take with us are those we love and enjoy being with most.  That's what the Journey of faith is meant to be - an adventure for God with the most fun and loving people you know.
