Don Beacham
Area Pastor - Cross Cultural Outreach and Facility Management

PastorBeachamDon is responsible for all of Grace Community Church's cross-cultural ministries, both locally and abroad.  Don directs the missions arm of Grace Community Church,  Partners Across Cultures, which mobilizes teams for ministry to unreached people groups overseas.  Other cross-cultural ministries for which Don has oversight responsibility include youth cultural exchange programs, short term vision and prayer trips, ministry in Mexico under our Hispanic pastor Jose Iglesias, and the local international outreaches headed by Steve Headland such as English As A Second Language (ESL) and the Cornerstone CoffeeHouse for UTA International students.  Don also oversees the church facility and maintenance and is an area pastor. 

Don was born in Ontario, Canada and grew up in Niger and Nigeria West Africa while his parents were stationed there as missionaries.  Don moved back to the USA to finish high school and graduated from LeTourneau University in Longview, TX with a B.S. in Bible and Aviation Technology.  Amidst plans to go overseas in mission aviation, God redirected Don into state-side mission mobilization.  After working in the aviation industry for 12 years as a Technical Service Manager, the opportunity opened for Don to be involved in mobilization through GCC as our Pastor of Cross-Cultural Outreach.

Don is also a leader of DFW Mission Mobilizers, a group of mission-minded Christians that network and collaborate, resourcing each other and the church in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for missions and raising mission awareness.  Don has been involved in cross-cultural ministry all over the world, including Turkey, Nepal, China, Mexico, Thailand, India, Mongolia, and Malaysia.

Don and his family began attending Grace Community Church in 1988.  Don enjoys family time, playing games with friends, solving puzzles and riddles, and travel.  Don married Pamela in 1980 and they have three children; Josephine (son-in-law Huy and granddaughters Esther and Eden), Danielle, Caleb (and daughter-in-law Bre).
