At Grace Community Church, we are passionate about helping people find the Lord Jesus Christ. Why does this matter to us so much? It matters for three reasons:

First of all, we found Jesus. We have had a wonderful, life changing encounter with the living Jesus and that motivates us to want to help others do the same. We have each had a personal experience of His love and transforming power to set us free and begin to heal us from things such as emotional pain, addictions, broken marriages, bad family experiences, disappointment and other issues that find their root in our human tendency to live independently of God and His best for us. Like anyone who discovers something they treasure and want to share, we want to share Jesus. We want to help others find what we have found.

Secondly, Jesus tells us to take this good news of who He is and what He has done to our neighbors and to the world. As soon as we truly comes to repent and believe in Jesus as our Savior and Lord, the Bible says that our sins are forgiven and we become citizens of heaven. The Word of God also says that we are now ambassadors of Christ. We now have a mission here on this earth. And that mission is to help as many people as possible find Jesus like we have.

Thirdly, the Bible teaches that those who don’t find Jesus are living apart from the fullness and freedom meant for them in this life and will the spend the next one separated from Him in a place of torment.  God doesn’t want any to experience the weight and pain of sin and neither do we, yet each person has the freedom to reject or accept God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We want to help as many as possible to accept Jesus so they can experience the fullness of life in Christ in this life and the next.

It is our strong desire that people find the Lord Jesus Christ.
